Pets Are Worth Saving
We are glad to participate our Women in Communications September networking event honoring the Humane Society of Broward County (HSBC), a progressive, non-profit animal shelter rich with programs and services to aid our community.
As a pet mama, (husky girl), I’m thrilled to have learnt of a vibrant organization that has events all year round with the sole purpose of keeping pets home, by educating and providing preventive resources to make successful relationships.
Many benefits have been associated to our loved friends, such as stress relief, companion, caring amongst many others. Giving back to their unconditional love is immensely rewarded. Pets Are Worth Saving, (PAWS) is dedicated to providing volunteer and financial support to the Humane Society. Programs include:
- Adoptions
- Public Awareness Education for Humans
- Treatment of Animals
- Animal assisted Therapy
- Pet loss and grief counseling
- Foster care and anti cruelty programs
Can do attitude. Over and over AWC reinstates their vision to empower women through wealth. Establish the correct connections that will lead to increased earnings. There are many reasons to justify why we haven’t. This is the perfect time to fill our Can do attitude.
Watch and learn, the humane society has fundraised 545,000 dollars on on the Spirit Walk alone(Walk4animals.com) in 2018. This season they are one to watch and support at:
- Upcoming Gala Event on March 2019
- Green Golf Tournament
- Fashion Show, and don’t forget the walk for animals event.
These aren’t the only ways to participate you may also join the walk virtually, as well as many other in kind donations and or various membership options.
This amazing cause was represented by PAWS President Julie Strauch and HSBC, Board Member, Christy Gumberg reminding us there are always ways, to give, volunteer, donate, participate, be a part of.
